Findlay Ride of Silence - May 18, 2022 - 6:30PM

The 4th Findlay Ride of Silence will meet at the Downtown Findlay YMCA parking lot at 6:30 pm this Wednesday, May 18. The ride will include streets and bike lanes and will be approximately 8 miles at a very easy pace. Special thanks to Josh at Stout Cyclery who will be stepping in to lead the ride. We will remember local cyclists injured or killed, including Shannon Mills who was killed outside Marysville in 2018. We will also remember Tom Gray who organized our first Findlay ride, you are missed Tom!

Join cyclists worldwide in a silent slow-paced ride (max. 12 mph) in  honor of those who have been injured or killed while cycling on public roadways. There is no brochure, no sponsors and no registration fees.  The ride, which is held during Bike Safety month, aims to raise the awareness of motorists, police and city officials that cyclists have a  legal right to the public roadways.

If you would like to help organize this event in 2023, please contact Keith Webb at 567-225-4032 or keith@WeAreTraffic.org
